Good points, I’m having a hard time keeping up with all the episodes even under Mormon Discussion alone.

Great point, what was Joseph Smith thinking. They obviously though Christ would perhaps show up by the time Joseph turned 80 years old.

Thanks for the podcast. I enjoy learning from you and the rest of the Mormon Discussions hosts. PBs were definitely a shelf item for me and one of the first things I explored when I dive down the rabbit hole. MormonThink.com has a good overview. I feel like there can be inspiration through priesthood, but I don’t think it’s exclusive to Mormonism, nor is it accurate or reliable (although it can bring hope comfort, even if in the end its somewhat delusional).
We need to think not in terms of truth or false, but rather ask, “is it useful?”
