Thanks for bringing the scriptures alive to me. I have to a certain extent categorized the scriptures as myths, and the only value are the stories and the messages that they intend to communicate.
Perhaps my concern is about being controlled by the messages and stories contained in the scriptures. I’m not sure if my fear is unfounded, but there is a shadow side to the message in the scriptures.
Or in every story that is being told, I suppose that no matter where the message comes from there is a certain degree of manipulation and desire to conform or cohesion to join, buy, and be part of.
