Mormon Church Seeks To Silence Whistleblower?: ML: 146 Mormonism Live has been watching from afar this story with 8 passengers and Jodi Hildebrandt and has for tonight’s episode zoomed in real close to look at a particular facet connection to the story to once again shine a light on the deep unhealthiness that permeates LDS Leadership and once again show that loyalty and obedience seem to be prioritized character traits over doing what is right and good. Hey, Mormons gone wild: ML:147 is about Midnight Mormons/Ward Radio discussion of Tim Ballard and not Jodi Hildebrandt.
With respect to MGW:ML:147 At 39:03 Maven says characterizing Ward Radio’s view of Vice: “to assume everything that comes from them is heinous, deliberate….it really is just cartoonish”. Well, my, my, my, isn’t that the epitome of Don Quixote calling out Sancho Panza when he said “ Dijo el sartén a la caldera, Quítate allá ojinegra” (roughly translated to “the pot calling the kettle black”). The hypocrisy comming from Bill’s and RFM’s kettle is delicious. Maven is describing perfectly her’s, Bill’s, and RFM’s behaviors, characteristics, and call-outs of wrongdoing when discussing the LDS Church. So since they were the ones who likened such behavior to a cartoon, let’s explore which cartoon fits best. I think Bill is most like Patrick but with Boo Boo a close second. RFM is the spitting image of Beavis but some would argue Squidward better describes him. Maven is most definitely Karen McCormick, no ands, ifs, or buts.
