Around minute 34 or 35, Bill mentions that Sarah Scott was also one of Joseph Smith’s wives. Isaac Scott’s wife was named Sarah, but he also had a sister named Sarah. It is the sister, as I understand it, that is supposed to have been one of Joseph’s wives. Sarah Scott, Isaac’s sister, was married to one of Joseph’s scribes, potentially a marriage intended to cover the fact she was married to Joseph. In the RLDS archives, there is a mention by this Sarah’s father of letters that he burned because what was in them should not be read.
