Wendy Perry

Wendy Merrill Perry began the Mormon Wellness Project as the logical extension of her works in the fields of psychology and communication. She grew up in the San Fernando Valley, and later Thousand Oaks, Calif. She earned a Bachelor of Education from Texas Tech University and a Masters degree in Counseling from South Texas State University. She has worn many hats over the years, college teacher, public speaker, trainer, program director, and private practice therapist. She also attended BYU and the University of Hawaii. She is the proud Mother of 4 wonderful biological children and 3 beautiful step-daughters who came into her life when she married her husband Michael Perry in 2009. She is also an adoring "granni" to 11 totally adorable and incredibly smart grandchildren. She has had the privilege of raising a special needs child who as an adult lives with Mom and step-Dad half the year. She has been a lifer in the Mormon church and continues to strive with its complexities.
